This page describes the methods and logic of the processing of personal data of users (hereinafter, also “users”) who consult the site: www.avvocatobassoli.it (hereinafter, also “Site”).

This is an information notice, pursuant to Art. 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (hereinafter also “GDPR”) and the Italian legislation in force for the protection of personal data, Legislative Decree 196/2003 (hereinafter also “Privacy Code “) and subsequent amendments, in particular those introduced by the Legislative Decree no. 101/2018, for those who interact with the Site starting from the address www.avvocatobassoli.it and not for other external and possibly connected websites. During the consultation of the Site, in fact, information relating to users may be requested and collected, which constitute personal data pursuant to the Privacy Code.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

By processing personal data we mean any operation or set of operations, carried out with or without the aid of automated processes and applied to personal data or sets of personal data, even if not registered in a data bank, such as collection, registration, organization, structuring, storage, processing, selection, blocking, adaptation or modification, extraction, consultation, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or any other form made available, comparison or interconnection, limitation, cancellation or destruction.

CONTROLLER AND PROCESSOR OF DATA PROCESSING

The controller and processor of the processing is the Bassoli Law Firm, in the person of the owner Marco Luigi Maria Bassoli, with registered office in via G. Carducci 17, 20123 Milan (“Law Firm”).

PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING

The processing connected to the services offered by the Site is carried out at the offices of the aforementioned Law Firm and is handled by internal staff (employees and collaborators), as well as, for management and maintenance of the Site, by subjects operating in third-party companies, such as Microsys Srl, with registered office in Via A. da Recanate 1, 20124 Milan and Business Press Srl, with registered office in Via Carducci 17, 20123 Milan. Both the internal staff of the Law Firm and the subjects operating in third-party companies are authorized (appointed) to process by the Data Controller, pursuant to Art. 4.10 of the GDPR, and operate under the direct supervision of the Data Controller himself, following the instructions given by the latter.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This regards information that is not collected to be associated with identified subjects, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the Site, the addresses in the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s computer environment.

These data are used for the sole purpose of checking the correct functioning of the Site and are deleted immediately after processing.

Data provided voluntarily by the user The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on the Site and the filling in of the specifically prepared “forms” (netmasks) entail the subsequent acquisition of the e-mail address and any other personal data included in the electronic communication, as well as the sender/user data, necessary to reply to requests or to provide the service. Specific summary information will be provided for particular services.

 COOKIES

Cookies are text strings (“data files”) that some websites, while being visited, can send to the user in order to trace his path within the site and collect data anonymously, to improve the offer and the usability of the site itself.

The Law Firm does not use IT techniques for the direct acquisition of the user’s personal identification data. Cookies are not used to transmit information of a personal nature, or systems for tracing users.

The Law Firm uses the so-called technical cookies for the sole purpose of making it possible to browse the Site and allow the user to use its features. Some technical cookies are essential to offer an optimal browsing experience or to allow the user to authenticate on the Site, for example to enter a reserved area (so-called navigation cookies). Navigation cookies are session cookies and, therefore, once the browser is closed, they are automatically deactivated. For the installation of these cookies it is not necessary to collect the user’s consent.

The Law Firm also uses the so-called analytical cookies of third parties which, enabling it possible to obtain information on how visitors interact with the contents of the Site (most visited pages, browsing time, etc.), provide useful statistics optimizing the site and improving navigation on same. For this type of cookie, it is not necessary to collect the consent of users, as the Law Firm has taken steps to both mask a significant portion of the IP addresses of same and to conclude agreements that commit third parties not to use the information collected for other purposes other than those of statistical analysis and not to cross them with other data in their possession.

If the user still wants to disable the cookies already installed, he will have to change the settings of his browser. However, it should be noted that in this case, malfunctions of the Site or some of its features may occur.

The absence of disabling of cookies for the Site is to be understood as consent to the use of the cookies themselves, and of the data collected by them.

OPTIONALITY OF PROVIDING DATA

Except as specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide his personal data in the application forms or in any case to indicate them in order to request the sending of informative material or other communications. Failure to provide personal data may, however, make it impossible to follow up on user requests.

PROCESSING METHODS

Personal data are processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures have been adopted to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING – COMMUNICATION AND DISCLOSURE OF DATA

The personal data provided by users who request information material or the provision of services are used for the sole purpose of fulfilling such requests, and may be known by employees and collaborators of the Law Firm, as well as by third parties who provide ancillary or instrumental services to the activity of the Law Firm, duly appointed as data processors. No other data communications will be made to third parties, except in the case of requests from the Judicial or Public Security Authorities. The collected data will in no case be disclosed.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES

The subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right, pursuant to Articles 12 and following GDPR, to obtain, at any time, confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the same data, to know their contents and origin, verify their accuracy or request their integration, updating, rectification, cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, as well as to oppose, in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their processing.
